TwoStack GmbH is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA. This statement is published voluntarily, taking guidance from EU Directive 2016/2102 and the Austrian Web Accessibility Act (WZG).
1. Scope
This statement applies to all content published under the domain twostack.at and its language variants (e.g. /de, /en), including the TwoStack WMP product page and the live demo embedded there at /wmp/demo. Linked external services (e.g. hCaptcha) are excluded; their respective providers publish their own accessibility statements.
2. Conformance status
Status: The website is largely conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, level AA. Full conformance is the target.
"Largely conformant" means that most requirements are met, but a small number of items are not yet fully accessible. Known limitations are listed below.
3. Implemented measures
- Consistent, high-contrast colour scheme with contrast ratios ≥ 7:1 (exceeding the WCAG 2.2 AA minimum of 4.5:1 for body text).
- Optional high-contrast mode, large-text mode and reduced-motion mode via the accessibility menu in header and footer, with persistent storage of the user's preference.
- Full keyboard navigation; visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Semantic HTML5 with landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and ARIA attributes where native HTML is not sufficient.
- Alt text on all informational images; decorative graphics are marked as such (aria-hidden).
- lang attribute on the html element; all content is available in German and English.
- Text resizable up to 200% without loss of content or function.
- Respects the operating system setting prefers-reduced-motion; animations are reduced automatically.
- Forms with explicit labels, error messages linked via aria-describedby, and live regions for status updates.
- Click and tap targets of at least 24 × 24 pixels (WCAG 2.2 SC 2.5.8).
- Consistent help (contact information) in the same place on every page in the footer (WCAG 2.2 SC 3.2.6).
- No interactions that require mouse-only or dragging gestures (WCAG 2.2 SC 2.5.7).
- No login required, so SC 3.3.8/3.3.9 do not apply.
4. Assessment method
The assessment was carried out as an internal self-evaluation by TwoStack GmbH, using the following tools:
- axe DevTools (browser-based, automated WCAG checks)
- WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool
- Lighthouse Accessibility audit (Chrome DevTools)
- Manual keyboard navigation (Tab, Shift-Tab, Enter, Esc)
- Screen reader smoke test with Windows Narrator and NVDA
- Manual visual inspection in high-contrast and large-text mode
Date of last assessment: August 2026
5. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:
- Decorative background animations (e.g. the animated cube, honeycomb background, robot mascot) cannot be meaningfully announced by screen readers. They are marked aria-hidden and carry no information; with reduced-motion mode enabled they are reduced or hidden.
- Embedded third-party content (e.g. hCaptcha) follows the accessibility of the respective provider and is only partially within our control.
- An external, independent conformance assessment has not yet been carried out.
- The live demo at /wmp/demo recreates an editorial area with a page editor. It can be operated entirely by keyboard and announces changes, but it remains a complex application: assembling pages demands more orientation than the rest of the site. All information shown in the demo is also available as text on the product page.
